Chapter 9 question Tuesday the 16th

Succession planning
In this chapter I chose this topic because it seems in every company someone wants to move up and make more money make more decision make more people angry, you get the point, the better office and view. Anyway I learned in companies that senior people have to look out for whats coming next in the business. When is so an so going to retire, or what hole needs to be filled. However on that same note, how do you know when a person is ready to be promoted Succession planning is the answer, you look around pay attention to what is going on.

So my question is the book thinks Succession planning is important, but the HR does not think all companies need to do? Hmm thoughts please

Reflection 8

Today, we talked aboutThe different chapters, I dont know to much, I came in late because my Info Teacher was having some issues, which then caused me to have some issues anywho. We disscused in our groups today, about the different ways of being trained, I found that we all agreed on the same type of training, interesting according to this sample, that we all found hands on the best way to learn. Or maybe I didnt present enough different ways when I was speaking?

Reflection 7

I liked Scott's presentation he gave, though I feel he asked our opinions constantly, when we weren't expecting it, anyway. I really liked how his business trains weekly, if my company did that, we would be smart and efficient, or least better. I liked the info he shared and the treats! Beneficial for sure

Chapter 8 question

CH 8

Manage employees

I think that managing employees are important. We all need to have our employees work had and most effective. But as we know they don’t always do that. In the book it talks about many different ways to do this and I think that we need to find a good happy medium. We need to work harder and we need our employer to push us a little harder also. If both of these happen then we can have a more affective work force.

Question

Have can we get a good way to see that people are working their best and to the employers satisfaction?

Chapter 7

There are a wide variety of methods when it comes down to training, as I read the different ways a person can be trained I learned quickly that I am the type of learner that likes hands on. So for example learing by the way we do the job. However the chapter talks about learning in class. As I continued on I read about internships and how they help students learn the way of life.

So my question for this topic is Simulation? I want to understand and be able to indenify what this means.

Reflection 6

Last time was insightfull, We talked alot about chapter 6, I enjoyed the class lesson, its interesting how each topic has so much depth.

Reflection 5

Last time was insperational, I like the group talk it seems to help me understand the chapter 100% better, I enjoy the comments and conversations made in class, excellent class. I seem to use alot of what I learn in the real life.
Chapter 6

In chapter 6 it talks about finding people to work for you and also you finding a job. Turning in a resume and being interviewed. It is all a hard decision because we want people to work for us that are qualified and also I want to be able to do the job that I’m hired for. So this goes both ways. I hate working with people that don’t do their job or the people that can’t be trained because they are not smart enough. I am going to school not for a degree but to be able to learn how to learn and be smarter for the work force..

My question to think about is with school we can learn fast and easier. Why do people get hired that don’t get schooling for a job that they need to learn a lot of information..
